Description:The Tony award winning show Disney's "Newsies" is about a newsboy named Jack Kelly. Jack convinces fellow newsies from across New York City to strike against the rich publishers about unfair conditions against teenage newsboys. Music is written by Alan Menken. Lyrics are by Jack Feldman and the book by Harvey Feierstein.

This show will be performed in the Wendy Kurka Rust Flexible Theatre.

 

Tunes @ Twilight

***Tunes at Twilight is a rain or shine event that is moved indoors to City Church if rain occurs. City Church allows concert attendees to bring coolers, food, and beverage to their venue. City Church is located at 817 Broadway Street in Downtown Cape***

Grab your picnic baskets and and lawn chairs, and head to Ivers Square for a live, musical performance at 7:00 p.m.

573 Chalk Art Festival

Description:The 573 Chalk Art Festival 2019 with entertainment, food, and art - is FREE to all to attend! The festival is featuring street and sidewalk chalk art by professionals, amateurs & art enthusiasts using the pavement of Ste. Genevieve as their canvas to create wonderful works of fleeting art — kids draw FREE. The event will be held on Main Street in Historic Downtown Ste. Genevieve. There will be live music, prizes, street performers, and art exhibits. 573 Chalk Festival 2019 is presented by Ste. Genevieve Tourism, the Ste. Gen. Arts Guild and 573 Magazine.

COST: Small fee for artists and free for public
