New Local Brewery in Downtown Cape

NEWS

Over a year of hard work, a delayed menu launch, and a basement flood (no one said opening your own business was easy) have led Minglewood Brewery to finally open its doors with a full lunch and dinner menu. Minglewood’s main focus however is their craft beers. Co-owner Stuart Matthews said that locally-brewed craft beer is something that’s missing from the Cape scene, and he’s working to provide an all-local option, hoping to someday have only Minglewood brews on tap. Right now they are working on two new beers, a stout dark beer and a Kentucky Common cream ale, which should be available in about 3 weeks. The brewpub is located at 121 Broadway and is now serving lunch and dinner.
