Jour de la Terre Wine Trail Event


The Route du Vin Wine Trail in Ste. Genevieve is host to several exciting and inviting wine and food experiences throughout the year. Join them in celebration of Earth Day April 18 & 19 for the Jour a la Terre and enjoy tasting-sized food samples inspired by seasonal herbs and paired with a tasting of the locally made wines at each of the six wineries. The menu for each location is as follows:

Sainte Genevieve Winery (Mint) 
Strawberry Wine Paired with
Almond Cheesecake with Macerated Strawberries & Mint

Charleville Winery (Basil) 
Barrel Fermented Chardonel Paired with
Savory Bread Pudding with Asparagus & Gryere Cheese

Chaumette Winery (Thyme) 
2013 Chaumette Assemblage Paired with
Meyer Farm Berkshire Pork Roast with Alsace Dumplings & Thyme

Twin Oaks Winery (Parsley) 
Vignoles Paired with
Chicken, Red Grape, & Almond Salad

Cave Vineyard (Chives)

Spinach & Goat Cheese Tartlett

Sand Creek Winery 
Sand Creek Dry Rose’ paired with
Chicago Style Pan Pizza with Sausage, Mushrooms, Herbs and Tomatoes
