Missouri Running Company to host 'Catch me If You Can' 5K Skirt Run

Cape Girardeau, Jackson, Scott City – Missouri Running Company is hosting a “Catch Me If You Can” 5K Skirt Run on Saturday, May 23 at the Common Pleas Courthouse in Cape Girardeau to benefit GRACES Women’s Council, an affinity group of United Way of Southeast Missouri. The run is sponsored by MediCenter, Isle Casino Cape Girardeau, Regional Brain and Spine LLC, Vision3Media and Cheryl Mothes with Edward Jones.

The run will begin at 3 p.m. and wraps through downtown Cape. Participants are invited to wear a skirt (yes, men too!) to get a three-minute head start on the race and awards will be presented following the run. At 6 p.m., an after-party celebration will be hosted at Cup N’ Cork, 11 S. Spanish.

Registration is $30 and includes a race t-shirt or a ticket package can be purchased for $45 that includes a $30 gift certificate to purchase a skirt from Missouri Running Company along with a race-tshirt. To register, visit https://runsignup.com/Race/MO/CapeGirardeau/CatchMeIfYouCan5KSkirtRun.
