Scott City Summerfest

NEWS

May is going out with a bang in Scott City with their annual Summerfest. This three-day celebration welcomes the months of summer with live music, games, amusement park rides, and a grade finale of fireworks.

This year Summerfest runs May 29 -30. On Thursday the park opens at 5:00 p.m. with the amusement park, and live music by Bluegrass Gospel bands. Friday has a similar lineup as well as a series of pageants, and a washer tournament. On Saturday Summerfest opens early with free swimming at the city pool at noon followed by a horseshoe tournament, talent show, live music, and a fireworks display to give the fun weekend a spectacular ending.

The Scott City Summerfest will prove to be the ultimate good time for all ages for their 39th year. For a full schedule and details for the event check out the website.
