United Way to Offer Tours of Funded Partner Facilities

PRESS RELEASE

Cape Girardeau, Jackson, Scott City – United Way of Southeast of Southeast Missouri will host two tours highlighting four of their funded partner’s facilities, the first on Tuesday, July 28 and the second on Thursday, August 13.

The tours are designed to allow donors and volunteers to get a first-hand look at the difference that these programs are making in the community and see their contributions in action. Each stop will include a guided tour by a staff member of that agency.

The July 28 tour will depart from United Way at 9am and make visits to the Safe House for Women and The Salvation Army, arriving back at United Way at 12pm. The August 13 tour will depart from United Way at 1pm and make visits to Lutheran Family and Children’s Services and Habitat for Humanity, arriving back at United Way at 4pm.
