World travel offers amazing experiences, and for some it’s the best hobby to undergo. For those wishing to travel, but having no idea where to start, attending a travel show can be enlightening and helpful in finding that next great adventure.

Travel agency 1st Class Travel is offering a series of free travel shows that are completely open to the public that provide information on locations, cost, and provide tours - ideal for first-timers. What makes these travel shows unique is that the trips also help local not-for-profit organizations, “They are fundraisers for these organizations. The travel shows really are to promote the trip that is in turn a fundraiser for the organization,” says marketing manager Leigh Segraves. 1st Class Travel hopes to provide convenient, expert advice on travel while helping a good cause. Shades of Ireland - October 5th at 5:30 pm at the Wehking Alumni Center (Southeast Missouri State University), 926 Broadway, Cape Girardeau. Experience the charms of the Emerald Isle! Visit the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher, travel through the world-famous Ring of Kerry and kiss the Blarney Stone at Blarney Castle. Fall in love with the people and culture of Ireland.

South Pacific Wonders -  November 10th at 6:30 pm at Saint Francis Medical Center’s Franciscan Room in Cape Girardeau. Explore Australia and New Zealand to experience the lands down under! Snorkel on the Great Barrier Reef, Cruise through the Milford Sound and learn about the aboriginal people of both stunning countries. Visit the wildlife, exotic topography and friendly people of the South Pacific.

Irish Splendors -  December 1st at 6 pm at the Community Counseling Center, 402 S. Silver Springs Rd, Cape Girardeau. Enjoy a true glimpse into the Irish lifestyle with the Irish Splendor tour. Spend the night in a historic castle, enjoy a pint in Ireland’s oldest pub, visit St. Patrick’s Cathedral and gaze upon the Rock of Cashel!
