Safe House Entering the No More Challenge

PRESS RELEASE

The Safe House for Women is participating in the ‘NO MORE Challenge’ - a fundraising competition in which the organization that raises the most money will receive a monetary prize to benefit their cause. The NO MORE Challenge focuses on organizations like the Sate House that help to end domestic violence.

The NO MORE Challenge started February 4 and will run through March 15.  The organization that raises the most money through online giving in the next 40 days will win $50,000 from NO MORE and Verizon.  Second place gets $30,000 and third place gets $20,000.  Plus participants keep all of the donations they receive as part of this challenge.

The proceeds the Safe House for Women receives from the NO MORE Challenge will go toward the capital campaign to build a new, larger shelter for women and children who have experienced domestic violence here in Southeast Missouri.
