WSIU Presents Regional Singing Competition

PRESS RELEASE

WSIU is excited to announce the premiere of ‘Song Stage,’ a new regional series premiering this Saturday, April 16 at 9 p.m. on WSIU-TV and other PBS stations across Illinois and Missouri. season one is comprised of eight episodes and will air Saturdays at 9 p.m. on WSIU-TV from this Saturday through June 4.

 

‘Song Stage’ is a music competition series that puts a different twist on similar programs like ‘American Idol’ and ‘The Voice.’ Each 30-minute episode features two undiscovered regional singer/songwriters who have one shot to deliver their best performance and their best original song if they want to win.
