Storybook Trail to Open at Osage Park

NEWS

The Osage Park Trail in Cape Girardeau will soon be home to the new Storybook Trail - a reading outdoor adventure. Throughout the summer the trail will feature ten different stories that patrons can read as they walk the Osage Park Trail. Pages from the featured story will be set up along the trail so that families can engage in out-loud reading while enjoying the outdoors. This is a way to engage families in these two healthy and important activities, specifically providing children with exercise and education.

The Storybook Trail will open May 20 - 26 with ‘The Berenstain Bears and Too Much Junk Food.’ A new story will be featured for one week, every week through August. Click here to see the full schedule.
