It’s still a month off from Halloween but the Salvation Army is already getting ready for the holiday season with their annual volunteer round-up.
The Salvation Army bell ringers are a sound of the season with volunteers collecting donations in their famous red kettles. This year the Salvation Army will hire 30 - 40 bell ringers for the Cape Girardeau and Jackson area. Donations are needed every year to fund programs that help residents in need.
Volunteers can pick a date, time, and location that is convenient for them. All ages are welcome.
To apply visit the Salvation Army on Good Hope Street in Cape, or apply online: http://tsacapegirardeau.org/cape_girardeau/volunteer
