Cape Girardeau Roller Derby To Travel to Memphis, Continue Recruitment

Cape Girardeau Roller Derby (CGRD) recently took on Confluence Crush Roller Derby on the home track on March 18 with proceeds benefitting Southeast Hospice. On April 22 CGRD will travel to Tennessee to take on Memphis Roller Derby.

CGRD plans to continue recruitment of skaters and referees with an informational night scheduled for April 3 at 6:00 pm at the AC Brase Arena building. No skating or athletic experience is required; our training team guides new team members through a 90-day inclusive “Fresh Meat” program.

Men and women ages 18 and up are eligible to join. This is a free, no-obligation event and all you need to bring with you is a “boil and bite” mouth guard. CGRD welcomes adults of all sizes, shapes, and backgrounds!
