2014 Summer Sign-Ups for Jackson, MO Baseball

JACKSON BOY'S LEAGUE BASEBALL

Player signups for the 2014 summer season will be held at the Jackson Public Library, 101 North High Street on Saturday, March 1st from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.; Sunday, March 2nd, from Noon until 6:00 p.m.; and Wednesday, March 5th, from 6:00 p .m. until 9:00 p.m.   JBL signups are for T-Ball through Age 12. 

Players age 13-15 will be play through the Southeast Missouri Baseball Association (SEBA).  Player registration is located on the Cape Girardeau Parks and Rec website.

The preferred method of registration/payment is by mail.  Player registration and payment can be mailed to Jackson Boys League, P.O. Box 676, Jackson, MO 63755.  If you pay by mail, but have questions regarding the 2014 season, please contact any JBL Board member.  JBL registration form is posted here. 

Player registration must be post marked by March 10, 2014 for your player to be drafted.  Coaches will be notified on March 14th.  Draft for T-Ball, Age 7, and Age8 will be on Tuesday, March 18th.  Draft for Age 9, Age10, and Age 11-12 will be held on Wednesday, March 19th.  Both drafts will be held at the Elk’s Lodge in Jackson and will begin at 7:00 p.m. on both nights. 

Practice for the 2014 season will begin on April 1st and the regular season will begin on May 1st.  Dates and times for leagues/teams will vary.  Dates of end of season tournaments will vary by division, but generally are completed by the last week of June.  A schedule for each division will be posted the week of March 24th. 

Our goal is for your player to have a minimum of 10 games and an end of season tournament.   T-ball and Age 7 do not have an end of season tournament.  However, weather conditions and scheduling may limit the number of games.  Trophies will be provided to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for the end of season tournament only.
