'SEW IT, GROW IT, SHOW IT' SEMO District Fair Line Up Announcement

SEW IT, GROW IT, SHOW IT !!

The 159th edition of the Southeast Missouri District Fair is scheduled September 6 – 13, 2014
at the Fairgrounds in Cape Girardeau. The 2014 Fair theme of Sew It, Grow It, Show It will
emphasize all the competitive exhibits both inside and out. Activities for all ages with more FREE
things available than ever before. New for 2104 will be "AgLand" supporting Ag Education.
Free variety entertainment with animal acts, strolling entertainers, dancing and contests in the Activities
Tent, Kidzone with FREE activities for the younger fairgoers, Livestock exhibits and competitions,
FFA and 4-H exhibits, Homemaker exhibits in the Arena Building, and so much more. All the traditional
fair foods, carnival midway attractions, and sightseeing will be there as well.

Changes of note include the annual Fair Parade to be Saturday September 6 at 9:30am, the crowd
favorite Dual Demo Derby scheduled Monday September 8, and the addition of a Contemporary
Christian Music concert to our grandstand schedule. Special entry gate promotions have been
scheduled for Tuesday September 9 with a "Two for One" Promotion and Thursday September 11
for our "Heartland Hero's". Additional information of all activities is available at SEMOFAIR.COM.
