Art Auction To Benefit Substance Abuse Prevention

the mission

 The mission of  EPIC is to join together in a common effort to build a healthy and safe community, reducing the risks of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs while promoting the healthy attitudes and behaviors of youth in Southeast Missouri.

the event

EPIC is hosting Off the Wall, a first annual art auction, on Friday, June 6th from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Dockside in downtown Cape Girardeau (4 North Spanish Street). All proceeds from the event will go to support EPIC's youth substance prevention efforts in Cape Girardeau County.

The Off the Wall fundraiser will include:
  • A Live Auction
  • A Silent Auction
  • A Light Dinner

Tickets are now available for purchase at the Arts Council at 32 N. Main Street in downtown Cape Girardeau! 

the artists

All of the artwork for the Off the Wall auction has been donated. If you are an artist who would like to contribute to EPIC's cause, we encourage you to donate a piece of your work. Artwork accepted, with all information, before 
May 21st
 will be included in the Off the Wall program. 

Artwork: Donated artwork can be in any form as long as it can easily be displayed on a table. There are a few spaces for larger pieces but no bigger than 3' x 6' and no greater than 150 pounds.

Where: Artwork can be dropped off at the Arts Council of Southeast Missouri, located at 32 N. Main St. in downtown Cape Girardeau.

Please Include: A brief description of the piece for the auctioneer and a jpeg photo of the artwork for the program.

The success of "Off the Wall" be be credited to the sponsors, who provide their names and financial support to this event. Our hope is to raise at least $10,000 to support the important work EPIC does to help local work. Event sponsors have the opportunity to benefit from extended media exposure prior to the event as well as public recognition at the auction.
