New Exhibit Opens
Forestry: Life Blood of Our Region
The Bollinger County Museum of Natural History will open a new exhibit on June 14. Join us for the opening of Forestry: Life Blood of Our Region.
Take a look back in history at the tools used in the forestry industry. Wood and wood products were a large part of our region's economy; learn about the impact forestry had on our region.
Marty Calvert, MDC forester will present "The History of Forestry in Southeast Missouri: A Look Back" at 2:00P.M. in the wildlife and forestry room on the second floor of the museum.
Children's activities include a tree hunt, forestry activity sheets, and touch me items.
Regular admission will apply.
Museum hours: noon-4:30pm
