Your artwork should focus on the contest theme "My Favorite Fossil."

Here are some questions to think about to help you get started with your art work:

What fossil do you like best?

How far back in time did your fossil live?

What would your fossils habitat or surroundings look like?

What other types of animals or plants might live where your fossil lived?

What would your fossil need to eat?

Submissions must be at the museum by 1pm on October 18, 2014 to be eligible to win. You may bring your artwork by the museum or if a teacher wishes to bring the work for you they may do so.

Please include your name, the name of your favorite fossil, your age/grade, a contact number (phone or email).

Thank you and good luck! We hope to receive lots of fossil art entries. There will be a prize for Best in Show. All work will be displayed at the museum for the rest of October and will be posted on our facebook page.
