While this is only the 5th year for the Fault Line Film Festival, it has made a large impact on the student community at Southeast Missouri State University. The festival is a local and inexpensive opportunity for students to showcase their films and be rewarded for their hard work. This year the festival has opened its doors for the first time to include not only Southeast Students but other regional filmmakers to enter their short films into the contest as well. The award-winners will be presented to the public on November 21 at 7:00 p.m. with a celebratory Gala to follow. November 19, at noon is the awards ceremony in which the filmmakers will be presented with their prizes. Most of the films are directed, written, and performed by students and community members.
