Children's Workshop to Perform 'Cinderella'

NEWS

Children interested in musical theater now have a chance to perform in a Broadway musical. The River Campus invites kids grade levels 2-7 to study and perform in the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical “Cinderella”. Kids will learn on-stage techniques for singing, acting, and dancing. All levels of experience are welcome. Megan Walton Steck, who has taught other children’s workshops will be teaching the class. They will participate in theater games and exercises, and learn scenes containing the play’s award-winning songs. Classes start Feburary 7, and are held each Saturday (with the exception of Feburary 21) from 9:00 a.m to noon leading up to a friends and family performance on March 14.
