Marble Hill Looking to Grow

The city of Marble Hill might be a bit out of the way, but this small town has been growing slowly with the addition of the Bollinger County Museum, and improving the winding highway 34. Officials are looking into ways to attract tourists to the area. A Cultural Arts Center is scheduled to open soon, and the town is reopening their hotel. Representatives are leaning towards the use of technology, such as the creation of a town website as a way to advertise events, and bring groups together for collaborations. Other ideas included building a sporting goods store, as Marble Hill often attracts outdoorsmen, and fishermen. There is still the disadvantage of funding, which town officials hope to solve with a grant. For now there are plenty of ideas to take advantage of the town’s new potential.
