For children who love to act, dance, or still have the untapped energy of a performer, the Southeast Missouri State University River Campus is hosting a Theatre and Dance Academy for the summer of 2015. From kindergarteners to high school seniors the Academy is offering classes for everyone. Each class will teach singing, choreography, acting, and so much more, with final performances to take place at the end of the period.

If your little one is a Frozen fan then the Afternoon Dance class is just for them. Kindergarten to 3rd grade will learn choreography and songs in the form of a ballet from the snow-themed film June 1-5 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. This class will also take place June 8-12 with the same times.

The Morning Musical Theatre Acting class will be held June 8-12 for 2nd to 7th graders, 9:00 a.m. to noon, where they will learn to perform the Broadway play, ‘You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown’.
