Advertising Club to present “Southeast Missouri State University’s Will To Do”

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Tonya Wells, of the University Communications and Marketing department at Southeast Missouri State University, will be the speaker at the Tri-State Advertising & Marketing Professionals meeting on Tuesday, May 26th at 11:30 am at Dexter BBQ in Cape Girardeau.

As Southeast Missouri State University turns the page on a new chapter with the rollout of a bold and modern brand that rallies pride in the Southeast community’s “Will To Do,” learn about the process behind the far-reaching and comprehensive rebranding campaign, nearly a year in the making. Hear how University Communications & Marketing hopes to convey the essence of today’s Southeast students who are tenacious and enterprising and to tell the story of Southeast’s dynamic academic programs as it carries the campaign forth.

Tonya Wells is the associate director of marketing and digital media for Southeast Missouri State University. As part of the University Communications and Marketing team, her focus is on marketing the River Campus and Southeast Athletics as well as university video, photography and social media.

Advance registration is required for the May program. Registration cost for the program, including lunch, is $15 for Tri-State AMP members, $20 for non-members and $12 for students.
