Community Counseling Center 4th Annual Craft Beer Festival

Saturday, October 3, 2015, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., the Community Counseling Center Foundation will hold its 4th annual Craft Beer Festival at the Cape Girardeau Arena Park/SEMO Fairground at the First State Community Bank Pavilion. Mayor Harry Rediger will open the festivities with the tapping of the Firkin and sample the first glass of Craft Beer.
Attendees will receive a souvenir pilsner glass for the sampling of over seventy varieties of beer from twenty six microbreweries. There will be a home brewing demonstration and live music by the Darren Burgfeld band Those Darned Argyle Socks.
General Admission tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the gate. General Admission includes a souvenir pilsner glass. Food may be purchased at the event provided by Port Cape.
New this year are VIP tickets for $50, and will be limited to the first 100. VIP tickets will include early entry onto the main floor at 11:30 a.m., souvenir sampling stein, special craft beer offerings in VIP area only, and special VIP food at no additional charge in the VIP area provided by Port Cape.
Tickets can be purchased at the Community Counseling Center, 402 S. Silver Springs RD, Cape Girardeau; all Kidd’s locations in Cape and Jackson; Dirt Cheap, P-Mac Music; John Huber Home Brew Supply, Fruitland; Minglewood, Broadway Beer Garten, and Primo Vino. Proceeds from the event benefit the Community Counseling Center providing programs and services to persons with mental illness and to promote mental wellbeing. The Community Counseling Center is a not-for-profit provider of mental health care, serving Cape Girardeau, Bollinger, Madison, Ste. Genevieve and Perry counties.
