Selfish Act Buried By Donations

The kindness of strangers was more than evident for the Kennet Humane Department this week. On Oct. 31 a robbery took place in which 250 gallons of dog food were stolen, as well as some crates and cleaning supplies. In the past few days donations are already coming in to replace the stolen food, with over 20 bags donated already. The KHD is already straining financially from the over abundance of animals needing medical care, so these donations are desperately needed to keep the animals fed and healthy. All help is greatly appreciated to get the KHD back on their paws. Visit them on Facebook to help.
