Broussards Opens in New Location

Broussard’s Cajun Cuisine has moved to a new location in Cape Girardeau. This classic Creole restaurant, which has stood as a local favorite in Cape for 30 years, now resides at 114 N. Main St. just down the block from its old location. The new building provides a rustic brick interior, large windows, and beautiful historic presence which lends a refreshing French Quarter-like atmosphere to the Cajun-themed restaurant. A new mural depicting New Orleans-related art fills up the wall in the main dining area. The mural was painted by Kyla Clark, a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, and former Broussard’s employee. Upstairs there is additional dining with a balcony overlooking the river, and a banquet area for private dining - which comes with its own bar.  Owner Stephanie Clark hopes to remain in the new restaurant for another 30 years.
