Advertising Club to present “Is this news?”

NEWS

Bob Miller, editor of the Southeast Missourian, will be presenting at the Tri-State Advertising & Marketing Professionals meeting on Tuesday, March 22 at 11:30 a.m. at Dexter BBQ in Cape Girardeau.

Marketing and Public Relations professionals work hard to get their latest events, initiatives, and efforts publicized, but how do you know what’s news and what’s promotion? Miller will discuss what’s news, what’s native advertising, when it can be both and offer suggestions for getting the word out about what you want to promote. Been wondering if you should buy advertising, write a news release, or make a media pitch? Join us to find out!

Registration cost for the program, including lunch, is $15 for Tri-State AMP members, $20 for non-members and $12 for students. Register online at tristateamp.eventbrite.com.
