Next Generation Takes Over Ray's of Kelso

The future of Ray’s of Kelso has been under watch recently. While owner Ray Ressel was trying to sell the fine-dining restaurant it appeared that Sonjay Fonn would be taking yet another business under his wing. But now Ray’s of Kelso will be staying in the family with Ressel’s three sons taking over the local restaurant. The pass of this proverbial torch officially begins Monday, with Ressel helping from the side-lines during his retirement. While the sons already worked at Ray’s of Kelso by catering, managing, and running the banquet center, they say that being partial owners is an added incentive.

Ray’s of Kelso offers fine dining with an outdoor buffet and live music throughout the summer.
