United Way Welcomes New Employees

PRESS RELEASE

United Way of Southeast Missouri is proud to announce and welcome both Donna Noe and Kristin Funderburk to the organization. The changes to staffing come from the departure of two former United Way employees, Melissa Stickle and Nicholle Hinkle.

Noe joins the team as the new Operations Manager. She brings many years of experience to the staff in varying management and administrative roles, most recently as the Director of Client Support for MedAssets. Noe also worked in accounting at P&G and at Mondi, formerly known as Nordenia. As Operations Manager, Noe will assist the Executive Director in governance, administrative matters, strategic business planning, and organizational change efforts. Additionally she will be accountable for all back office functions, including risk management and facility management.

Funderburk, a recent graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, will work under the title of Community Relations Manager. Previously, she completed marketing and communications internships for Saint Francis Healthcare System and the Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce. Primarily, Funderburk will work as a part of the United Way leadership team to develop, retain and significantly grow the level of financial support, and commitment to United Way of Southeast Missouri. She will also identify viable opportunities for additional involvement with the organization and work closely with constituents to plan, organize and implement the annual campaign and other United Way activities to ensure a successful, stronger, and sustained United Way commitment.

“While change is hard, I have always said that change brings growth,” said Elizabeth Shelton, Executive Director of United Way of Southeast Missouri. “As difficult as it is to say goodbye and rebuild, I am excited about our new team and the opportunities ahead.”

The Mission of the United Way of Southeast Missouri is to serve as the leader in uniting people and resources to build a stronger and healthier community.
