The Nutcracker Opens in Farmington This Weekend

This weekend is the Farmington Centene Center’s 20th production of ‘The Nutcracker’, featuring the Young People’s Performing Arts Theatre. The actors have been preparing since last summer for the milestone show. The largest cast to date with 180 performers, it promises to be a memorable performance. The YPPAT raised $70,000 with fundraisers throughout the year for sets, costumes, and special props worthy of Broadway. Children, adults, and special guests will grace the stage, bringing E.T.A. Huffman’s story to life to the famous score by Peter Tchaikovsky.

Tickets are only $12.50. Shows are at the Centene Center in Farmington every night at 7:30, December 11 – 13, with a matinee at 1:00 p.m. on December 13.
