Possible ‘Greek Village’ to be added at Southeast

The Greeks of Southeast Missouri State University may be getting their own campus housing, called the Greek Village in the next few years. This would be a university-sponsored living space to accommodate the growing Greek population. Three fraternities have expressed interest in the project. Most fraternities and sororities share rent on houses in the area, but some of the houses are in need of repairs. Right now the university is considering its options, with two possible locations for the Greek Village, one on North Sprigg Street, and another on Bertling Street. On-campus housing would provide needed amenities Greeks don’t get from off-campus living, such as transportation, easy payment methods, and dining.
