All Aboard! The St. Louis Iron Mountain Railway in Jackson Missouri is now open.
Travel back in time as you step aboard the 92 year old passenger cars and make some memories of your own.
This train is an entertainment short line excursion railway that offers fun and unique adventures that can only be found on the historical tracks that run from Jackson to Gordonville. The Iron Mountain is run entirely by volunteers dedicated to making sure their passengers have a good time. It's not an ordinary train ride, there are a lot of activities going on during the excursions, such as, train robberies, treasure hunts, music, dinosaurs---you just never know who will show up for the ride.
Most excursions last 2 hours. The train will stop at the Iron Mountain Village called Cactus Gulch where they have a campfire, music, make s'mores and play games.
Saturday train rides are $17 for Adults, Children (2-12) $10 and Under 2 are free. The train departs at 1pm so it is recommended to arrive at least 20 minutes before departure. You can visit the Whistle Stop Depot or hang out on the deck while you wait. The Murder Mystery Dinner Events are $42 per person and the Dinner & A Show Events are $35 for Adults and Children (2-12) are $28 (Infants - Free) For the full train schedule or to reserve tickets online click here.
