It's time to celebrate Independence Day with family, barbecues, fireworks, and fun! Here are some of the 2018 Fourth of July events in our area!
Southeast Missouri:
Doniphan 4th of July Celebration with Dr. Fever and The Venus Flytrap
Saturday, Jun 30, 2018, 5:30 pm
Doniphan City Park
Pack up the family, bring your lawn chairs and come on down to the 2018 Independence Day Celebration and get your groove on with Dr. Fever and the Venus Flytrap brought to you by the Ripley County Chamber of Commerce and Ozark Federal Credit Union.
They will have you moving and grooving to the oldies. The concert will start immediately after the crowning of Miss Current River. While you are there enjoy the food and craft vendors, children's games and stay for the fireworks.
Oran 4th of July Picnic
July 4th, 2018 Beginning at 11:00 a.m.
Guardian Angel Knights of Columbus Hall – Oran, MO
A low-key Fourth of July celebration will be taking place in Oran at the Guardian Angel Knights of Columbus Hall building beginning at 11 a.m. Guests can expect lawn games and a horseshoe tournament, bingo, food and beverages, and a firework display at night.

At noon there will be a traditional celebration with church bell ringing, Pledge of Allegiance, patriotic speeches, and music, as well as an honor salute by various local organizations. That evening the Muny Band will perform patriotic music, and at dusk, Fireworks will explode in Ste. Genevieve’s Pere Marquette Park.

Where: Arena Park – Cape Girardeau, MO
The Arena Park in Cape Girardeau will open at 7 p.m. for area residents to filter in for Fourth of July festivities including a concert by the Cape Girardeau Municipal Band at 8 p.m. followed by fireworks beginning around 9:15 p.m. Parking will be available throughout the park. Seating will be on the field so lawn chairs and blankets are recommended.

Jackson Fireworks and Celebration
When: July 4th, 2018 Beginning at 7 a.m.
Where: Jackson City Park – Jackson, MO
There will be an all-day Fourth of July celebration in Jackson City Park beginning with a 5K walk bright and early at 7 a.m. followed by daytime events including a car show, art in the park, and food and drink vendors.
Shades of Soul will preform at 7pm at the Jackson Band Shell.
A fireworks display will be held at night beginning around 9:30 p.m.

Area residents interested in starting off their Fourth of July morning with a little bit of exercise for a good cause can sign up for the Independence Day 5K supporting SoutheastHealth Children’s Health and Wellness programs. All runners will receive a free t-shirt with their registration fee and child care will be available.

Red, Wine & Blue Celebration + Car Show @ Walkers Bluff

Description:Come on out to Walker's Bluff for our annual Red, Wine and Blue Celebration on July 3rd! This year we will also be having an Antique & Muscle Car Show!
For our Red, Wine and Blue Celebration, gates will open at 2pm and it will be $10 per car to enter. We will be having a 17 minute fireworks show at dusk, live music and more details to come!
We have Corey Evitts playing from 2-5pm and Dave Caputo Band playing from 6-9pm.
Antique & Muscle Car Show Information:
It will be participation judging. It is $10 per car for pre-registration and $20 for day of registration. Cars that have pre-registered will not to have to pay an entry fee for our Red, White and Blue Event ($10 per car).
