Good country music is fun and exciting but also evokes a feeling of comfort and familiarity. Good country music will get you on the dance floor and make you forget your problems but will also make you stop and think. Clayton Anderson’s music provides all of those different aspects.
Clayton grew up in a small Indiana town and it is evident in almost every song he sings. Clayton writes songs about what he knows and the result is a mix of songs that are good ole boy fun and honest to his roots. “What You’re Missin’” pays homage to the joy that results from the simple things in life and “Beer Tastes Better on Friday” is an end-of-the-workweek anthem that will be stuck in your head all day. He has worked his way up the country music ladder the old fashioned way-through hard work and grassroots promotions. His shows are personal, fan driven, and very entertaining. Having shared the stage with Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Jason Aldean , Luke Bryan, Jimmy Buffet, and Blake Shelton, Clayton knows how to put on a great show. His shows feel very personal and he legitimately enjoys entertaining people whether it’s a sold out arena or a smaller venue. Don’t just expect country music at his shows though. With influences from Conway Twitty to John Mellencamp to Sister Hazel to Dave Matthews Band, Clayton provides something for everyone.
Clayton will be performing at Pink Galleon on February 9th. Also performing with him is Blair’s West. For more information on Clayton, you can visit his Facebook page, listen to his Pandora station, or go to hisYouTube page. For more information on Blair’s West, you can visit their Facebook page.
