We’ve covered the basics, but there are still several culture-themed restaurants right here in town. We're finishing off Europe with this final installment of the International Food Series.
For a restaurant submerged in cultural atmosphere try Katy O’Ferrell’s Publick House in Cape. Their flavorful Irish cuisine will leave patrons full and happy as they enjoy the rich, warm atmosphere of the historic building in which they are located. Try their fish and chips, delicious planks, grab a drink in the pub, and try not to be too confused by their bathrooms, or the giant moose head awaiting kisses.
Aban Kitchen in Carbondale is a unique taste of the Middle East. Enjoy your meal at a traditional low-set table. They offer dishes like mundi lamb, or sultah lamb soup.
For something a little closer to home give Broussard's Cajun Cuisine a try. They serve Cajun food that tastes as if it’s straight out of Louisiana. Their menu offers etouffee, crawfish, and jambalaya.
