With blooming flowers comes budding talent as the Southeast River Campus holds its annual Spring Into Dance production. Spring Into Dance gives Southeast faculty and students a chance to have their original choreography brought to life on the stage.
There will be three faculty pieces and four student pieces in the production. Those attending the production can expect to see styles ranging from Jazz to contemporary hip-hop.
Unlike most Spring Into Dance and Fall for Dance productions, this year two guest artist pieces will be performed rather than the typical one guest performance. The first is Sound Effects, choreographed by Sam Watson, and the second is Building Danger, choreographed by Jan Bartosek.
There are three different opportunities to catch the production. The first two nights are Thursday, April 10th and Saturday, April 12th at 7:30 p.m. The third and final performance will be on Sunday, April 13th at 2 p.m. The show should be about an hour in length and will be held in the Donald C. Bedell Performance Hall for all performance dates.
General admission tickets are $16 per person. Southeast Students can purchase tickets for only $3 with their student ID. Limit one discount per student. There is a discount for Southeast faculty as well.
