Cruisin' Uptown Jackson

Local car enthusiasts can rejoice, as the fifth season of Cruisin’ Uptown Jackson has officially begun! Saturday, April 12 marked the opening day of the monthly car show, which takes place on the second Saturday of each month from April to October.

Cruisin’ Uptown Jackson gives car owners a chance to take pride in their vehicles by putting them on display for an evening near the Cape County Courthouse in Jackson, MO. The show is open to owners of muscle cars, street rods, antique cars, classic and special interest cars or trucks, and custom motorcycles. Participants are encouraged to drive their cars in the show, but it is not required. Those who register are entered for door prizes and dash plaques as well.

Classic-car fanatics can get their pictures taken with their favorite cars while enjoying an evening of classic tunes by Hot Rod Nights. The time for the show is 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. for each of the show dates, with the only exception being October 11th. The October 11th show will start at 10 a.m. as part of the 2nd Annual Oktoberfest celebration.
