Country music and comedy are no strangers to Granger Smith (read: Earl Dibbles, Jr.), rising country music star. The Boathouse Wine Co. in Bloomfield is excited to host Smith, as well as his alter ego Earl Dibbles, Jr. on August 2.
Texas born and bred Granger Smith has seen a lot of music in his days. Since he was 19, Smith has been recording and producing music in his in-home studio. He has released nine studio albums, with his most recent "We Do It In A Field" debuted in the #1 spot on the iTunes Country Chart. His music has also garnered him ten Top 10 singles on the Texas Music Charts with four in the Top 5 and two #1 hits.
His recent release of his alter ego Earl Dibbles, Jr. has not only impacted his fame, but it has also left his fans in stitches by parodying the entire genre of today's country music. His over-exaggerated display of "the country boy" is an internet sensation, and he even has two hit songs to boot. (No pun intended, of course.) You can find out more about the musical duo here.
