Take a look at your favorite business. A restaurant, an entertainment venue, an online marketplace, a taco stand. Behind each of these businesses is an entrepreneur, a person with a vision that they brought to light.
Now take a look at 1 Million Cups (1MC). 1MC is a weekly educational program designed to engage, educate, and accelerate communities of entrepreneurs by offering a unique look into the triumphs and struggles they encounter. Born from the idea that communities are built on a million cups of coffee, their aim is to change the culture of entrepreneurship by sharing a million more cups with networks of entrepreneurs, successful business leaders, mentors, and community members.
Joining with the likes of St. Louis, MO, San Diego, CA, St. Petersburg, FL, and Chattanooga, TN, Cape Girardeau will soon be a 1MC meeting host. Meetings will take place at Codefi, an innovative new workspace on Broadway where you can collaborate with other business people in the community in a comfortable coworking experience.
Meetings are held nationwide on Wednesdays from 9am to 10am. After a short presentation, entrepreneurs and business startups are able receive feedback and advice from the network of community members in attendance about their business, thus enhancing their product, experience, or journey to becoming successful.
