CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO-- Thursday, September 10, at 7:00 p.m., the Arts Council of Southeast Missouri will host their second Red Light Night with the topic “Art on Trial: Censorship vs. Freedom of Expression.”

Dr. Kenneth L. Stilson, Professor of Acting, Directing, and Musical Theatre and Chair of the Department of Theatre and Dance, will lead “Art on Trial.” Dr. Stilson has worked as a professional director, writer, and actor including in such theatres as the Lincoln Center (NYC), American Academy of Dramatic Art/Hudson Theatre (Hollywood,), Southern Repertory Theatre (New Orleans), and the First Run Theatre (St. Louis). Additionally, he directed and co-wrote the feature film, Fire Lily, based on his own award-winning play Where the Lilies Grow.
