Join KRCU, WSIU-TV, and the Cape Girardeau Public Library for a free Indie Lens Pop-Up screening and discussion of the PBS Independent Lens film "The Black Panthers: Vanguard of the Revolution." Discussion moderators include Lloyd Williams, Vice President, NAACP – Cape Girardeau; Carl Kinnison, Instructor, Criminal Justice & Sociology, SEMO and former Cape Girardeau Chief of Police; Dr. Hamner Hill, Chair, Political Science, Philosophy & Religion, SEMO; and Dr. Morris Jenkins, Dean, College of Health & Human Services, SEMO.

The event takes place January 21 at 6:00 p.m. at the Cape Public Library. Please RSVP online at or contact the Cape Library at (573) 334-5279.
