United Way of Southeast Missouri to Host "Boos and Microbrews"



Cape Girardeau, Jackson, Scott City – The United Way of Southeast Missouri will host Boos and Microbrews in partnership with Hop Heads of Southeast Missouri Home Brew Club and Bluff City Beer Co. on Saturday, October 25 from 2 to 6pm in the parking lot at the corner of Broadway & Main in downtown Cape Girardeau.

Attendees will be invited to sample from over 60 craft and locally brewed beers and will also receive a ballot to vote for their favorite beverage. Raffle tickets for two theme-related prizes will be sold during the event at 2 tickets for $5 or 5 tickets for $10. The prizes will be raffled off at 3pm and 4pm. Attendees are also encouraged to dress in costume for the event. At 5pm, prizes will be awarded to the Best Dressed Male and Best Dressed Female. 

Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the gate. Tickets can be purchased at United Way of Southeast Missouri, BOLD Marketing, and Hubrew. The first 350 people to enter the tent on the day of the event will receive a souvenir coolie cup and bottle opener keychain. Food will be sold by 2 Sides Grillin and Jerry Ford’s Polka band will provide music. Proceeds from the event will benefit United Way of Southeast Missouri.
