New Trail Added to Jackson Parks


Jackson, MO has received a grant for the extension of a recreational trail. $330,000 was awarded to fund the second phase of the city's Hubble Creek Recreation Trail project. This project will connect the City Park to the Jackson Community Center with a connection to Brookside Park.The concrete trail will be 5,000 feet long and eight feet wide and will include safety lighting, wheelchair accessibility, and a pedestrian bridge. Jackson official’s long-term plan is to connect all Jackson parks with a recreation trail. They hope to complete construction by late 2015.
